General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

This contract regulates the terms of sale between LiCHter Grosshändler GmbH (hereinafter "Seller") and the customer (hereinafter "Customer"),
who purchases through www.lichtmobel.ch or directly from the seller. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms and conditions as binding.

1. Subject matter of the contract
This agreement applies to the sale of furniture and related products both online and in brick-and-mortar stores.
It contains the provisions regarding payment, delivery, returns and liability.

2. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) including VAT.
- Payments can be made by credit/debit card, TWINT, purchase on account, myPOS or other payment methods offered by the seller.
- For myPOS payments, the customer enters the amount themselves. Incorrectly entered or multiple payments are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Bank charges, exchange rate differences and payment processing fees are borne by the customer.
- The seller assumes no liability for technical problems or delays on the part of banks or payment providers.

3. Delivery
- Deliveries are made both within Switzerland and abroad.
- Delivery times depend on availability and delivery address (usually 2-6 weeks).
- The customer is obligated to provide the correct delivery address. Incorrect information may result in delays or additional costs, for which the seller is not liable.

4. Right of withdrawal and return
- The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods without giving any reason.
- Returns are only possible for unused, undamaged and original packaged products.
- Custom-made or individually configured furniture is excluded from the right of return.
- Return costs are generally borne by the customer, except in the case of faulty or damaged delivery.

5. Cancellation
- Orders can be canceled before processing.
- After the goods have been dispatched, the return process applies.
- The seller reserves the right to cancel orders in case of delivery shortages or extraordinary circumstances.

6. Guarantee
- All products are sold with a guarantee in accordance with Swiss law.
- The warranty period is usually 2 years (depending on the product).
- The warranty only covers manufacturing defects under normal use.

7. Payment processing and myPOS terms and conditions
- The customer is responsible for entering the payment amount correctly.
- The seller is not liable for incorrect, unauthorized or fraudulent payments.
- Refunds for overpayments will only be made in writing and subject to deduction of bank and transaction fees.
- Refunds will only be processed via the same payment method.
- The seller reserves the right to block payments in case of suspected misuse or fraudulent activity.
- System failures or technical errors of the payment providers are outside the responsibility of the seller.

8. Disclaimer
- The seller is not liable for damages caused by improper installation, incorrect use or interference by third parties.
- Liability for indirect damages, lost profits or delays in delivery due to force majeure is excluded.

9. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
- Swiss law applies exclusively.
- Place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, the registered office of the seller.
